About Us
Mosaic Montessori is located on the beautiful Camp Don Bosco property, in Carnation, Washington.
We are so lucky to be able to use this space, surrounded by acres of woodland and lush grassy meadows. Our program is 10 months, September through June, with classes offered four days a week, Monday through Thursday. Creating community is important to us, and we believe in inclusivity and respect. Our goal is to balance the indoor educational environment with exploring the great outdoors.
We are a nontoxic, eco-friendly program, and are working towards becoming more environmentally friendly and sustainable every day.

My name is Christine Meredith. I have been working in early childhood education for the past two decades and am making my dreams a reality by opening my own Montessori.
I am a mother of two young boys, and I thought that this would be the perfect way to fulfill my dreams while still spending the quality time with them that I love.
I have grown so much in my education and passion for teaching over the years, and I can’t wait to share it all with your children.
I graduated from the University of Washington with my teaching degree while working in early childhood education, and I never left. I rediscovered Montessori and quickly started working to become certified. I have my Montessori certification for infants and toddlers as well as primary (2.5-5 years) classrooms. My career has given me many wonderful opportunities over the years, and I can’t wait to use all of the knowledge and wisdom that I gained in my own school.
Thank you so much for your interest in Mosaic Montessori. I'm eager to talk with you.
Kim Harrison received her AAS in Horticulture in 2017 from Lake Washington Institute of Technology and earned her Montessori certification from MEIPN in 2020. She had a mid-life career change and has been working with children professionally since 2018. Kim has two kids, 28 and 17, and two fur babies both pit mixes. In her spare time, she likes to farm! She has chickens, bees, and a raised vegetable garden in Sultan where she lives. When not working, her family likes to hike and tow their travel trailer to KOA destinations around Washington state. So far, Kim says Winthrop has been the best.
